Thank you for your request which I received on 4 January 2022. For the period 27 December 2021 to latest date/figures, you asked for the following information:

•    the amount of people in Wales who have been fined for going into their workplace when they could have worked from home;
•    the fine amount;
•    the amount of employers fined for repeatedly failing to allow employees to work from home;
•    the fine amount;
•    what industry/sector the business is; and
•    the number of fines issued for people not working from home (both employees and employers) during the first lock down and also, how was this rule policed?

Following a search of our records, I can inform you that the Welsh Government does not hold any information that falls within the scope of your request.

Individual compliance under the Regulations is enforced by Police Forces in Wales.

Business and employer compliance with the requirements under regulation 16 (to 
undertake risk assessments and put in place reasonable measures) is enforced by Local Authorities
