ATISN 16286 - Referrals from Mid Wales to Hereford Hospital

Thank you for your request to the Welsh Government for information under the Freedom of Information Act (2000) received on 27 April.  You requested the following:

  • To provide policy documentation which would describe all patient benefits accrued from being referred from Mid Wales to Hereford Hospital for treatment or examination at a facility currently under special measures, and additionally where no adequate public transport between Mid-Wales and Hereford exists.

Response

Welsh Government does not hold the information you have requested.  Local Health Boards are responsible for commissioning services for its population, and we note from your initial email that you have contacted the health board who will respond to you directly.

Next steps

The request you sent me contains personal information about you - for example, your name and address. The Welsh Government will be the data processor for this information and, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, it will be processed in order to fulfil our public task and meet our legal obligations under the Act to provide you with a response.
