Total gross disposable household income (GDHI)

• £68 billion in Wales, an increase of 7.6% compared to 2023.
• £1,799 billion for the UK, an increase of 7.4% compared to 2023.

GDHI per head

• £21,469 (82.7% of the UK figure), up 0.6 percentage points relative to the UK from 2023.
• The second lowest amongst the UK countries and English regions.
• The third highest percentage increase out of the UK countries and English regions, up 7.0%, compared to a 6.2% increase for the UK.
• The largest increase was in Northern Ireland (up 7.7%).

Real household disposable income

• Adjusted for inflation, the third highest percentage increase per head out of the UK countries and English regions, up 3.4%, compared to a 3.1% increase for the UK.
• The largest increase was in Northern Ireland (up 4.1%).
